Post 60 – Going Full Tilt

Michaele AlexanderA Grand Discovery

Just for a moment or two today I am wallowing in the feeling that some unseen force is greatly amusing itself, yet again, at my expense by trying to stuff me into the fabric of Cervantes’ “The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha” to see the world through the eyes of the main character as he tilts at windmills and I don’t want to. It is nice to think that we can make a difference and the kind of difference we can make is always unique if it is to be a true difference, BUT (oh lord, not one of those, a “but”), I don’ wanna do it alone! I don’t! I don’t! I don’t! (insert further tantrum here). (Insert paper bag here.)

Regrouping. I don’t really care if I write or draw or paint or take photographs, or, or, or. What I REALLY care about is waking people up in droves that they have a choice to be KIND. It’s really rather simple. Without kindness we will as a species perish and with us everything but cockroaches. Maybe even the cockroaches. With kindness comes infinite creativity and solutions galore, lots of fun. End of story.

And now, back to our usual broadcast programming…

5% more likely to come to pass:
Do the work, further research and enlist knowledgeable people to help while having the best attitude ever.
5% less likely to come to pass:
Do nothing.

50% more likely to come to pass:
Do the work, further research and enlist knowledgeable people who give a rats’ @*# to help while having the best attitude ever.
50% less likely to come to pass:
Do nothing.

Absolute no brainer that this will happen:
Do the work, further research and enlist knowledgeable people to help who really care about what they are doing and how they do it while having the best attitude ever concurrent with enjoying tea and chocolate with Giants. Over and over and over again.
Dead certainty that it won’t:
Choose something else.
